Ace Cliff Duplex Cottage

The Cliff at Your Threshold

The Ace Cliff Duplex Suite sits at the sharpest point of the property — two floors, a cliff-edge balcony, and 270 degrees of the Hamta Valley held in glass. Named the Ace because it is exactly that. The duplex layout gives the suite a scale most mountain rooms don't attempt — a floor to live on, a floor to sleep on, and the valley present across both. Step onto the balcony and the jacuzzi is at the edge, the ridgeline straight ahead, nothing between you and the Hamta peak but cold air and distance. The most complete way to stay here.

Glass That Holds The Mountain Out

The windows are double vacuum-insulated glass — engineered to keep the cold on the correct side while keeping the view entirely intact. In January, the Hamta Valley sits below zero. Inside the Ace, you decide the temperature. The all-weather air conditioning runs down to minus 15 degrees Celsius. The walls are insulated with glass wool. The suite is quieter and warmer than a mountain room at this altitude has any right to be.

Two Floors, One View

The duplex layout changes how a stay feels. There is a floor for the hours you are awake and a floor for the hours you are not. The valley stays with you across both. You will find yourself moving between them more than you expect.

Your Hours, Your Kitchenette

The in-suite kitchenette was not put here as an afterthought. A mountain stay has its own rhythm — late evenings, early mornings, the kind of hunger that arrives at midnight because the altitude earns it. The kitchenette means your food is warm when you want it warm. Your coffee happens on the balcony, on your schedule, before the rest of the day begins.

The Valley at Every Hour

The 270-degree view changes across the day — morning light on the eastern face, afternoon shadow moving down the slopes, the valley floor lit differently at dusk than it was at noon. The Ace gives you enough time and enough vantage to notice all of it.

SENSORY DETAIL

The Feeling of Having All of It

A Suite That Takes Up Space

Most mountain rooms give you a window. The Ace gives you two floors and a cliff. It is the kind of stay that takes up space in memory the way only the best ones do.

The Cliff Position

The Ace sits at the outermost edge of the property. The balcony jacuzzi is level with nothing but the ridgeline. On clear mornings, the Hamta peak catches the light before the valley floor does. From the water, you watch it happen.
